Amictus is the last of the good beasts to be set free in the land of Gwildor. She is highly camoflaged and has the ablity to spawn hundreds of deadly young. When Tom goes to free her he realises that the babies are not evil, they are just protecting their mother. Tom' s Magic Telescope can help him see things which are normally camouflaged, and therefore sees where Amictus is when she is camouflaged. Tom defeats Amictus by pulling out a barb from her claw, releasing the poison in her claw. Amictus the Bug Queen is book 30 and is the last book of The Shade of Death. Her card stats are-
